Haven’t gone there yet but very close.

A good case for going windows/linux mix is you can still run windows-compatible programs like Adobe Creative Cloud and MS Excel but still take advantage of VIM/Bash and other cool linux-based stuff.
Remote-WSL VSCode extension. Install to Linux Distro if not already the following: Node. Update Git and Git Credentials. Add GitHub CLI. Install Brave, FireFox and Chrome.
Also install Oh My Zsh (a delightful, open source, community-driven framework for managing your Zsh configuration. It comes bundled with thousands of helpful functions, helpers, plugins, themes, etc.).
Note: I have git bash installed so I do have access to Unix commands, Vim on windows already.
